WESTFIELD AREA Y HOSTS FAMILY KARMA YOGA EVENT

WESTFIELD AREA Y HOSTS FAMILY KARMA YOGA EVENT

The Westfield Area Y is hosting a Family Karma Yoga Event fundraiser to benefit the Annual Support Campaign at the Main Y facility, 220 Clark Street on Saturday, March 28th from 10:30 am-11:30 am.

This event is 60 minutes of action-packed fun and is designed for families with children ages 4-10. Activities include music, crafts, yoga and lessons to encourage both children and adults to contemplate how their actions can make a big difference in other people’s lives. A complimentary family photo will be emailed to participants after the event.

Karma Yoga means “the discipline of selfless action.” It provides a wonderful parenting tool for discussing the concept of compassion. Introducing a young child to this concept can provide the cornerstone for their future relationships. Mats will be provided.

When you give to the Y, your gift has a meaningful, enduring impact right here in our community. For more information, please visit www.westfieldynj.org.

The $20 tax-deductible contribution per family will go directly to the Annual Support Campaign. Registration is required and can be done online at www.westfieldynj.org or in person at the Welcome Center at the Main Y Facility.
