WESTFIELD AREA Y HOSTS FREE FRIDAY NIGHT FILM FESTIVAL AT THE BAUER BRANCH

Movie lovers of all ages are invited to experience movies as they were meant to be enjoyed...on the big screen! The film festival will be held at the Robert and Virginia Bauer Family Branch of the Westfield Area Y, 422 East Broad Street.
The featured films are Frozen on March 6, ET on April 3 and the Wizard of Oz on May 1. All films start at 7:00pm. Register for one or all three. Chairs are provided, but patrons are welcome to bring their own picnic-style seating. Online registration is available at www.westfieldynj.org. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Concessions will be sold at the door, with proceeds benefiting the Westfield Area Y Annual Support Campaign for strong kids, families and seniors.
Thanks to the annual support campaign, no one who lives or works in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood or Mountainside and is experiencing a bona fide financial hardship is turned away for inability to pay. The majority of awards enable children to attend the Y’s safe and supportive child care and summer day camp programs while their parents work.
For questions regarding the film festival, please contact Ben Nanna, Assistant Director of Special Programs and Events, bnanna@westfieldynj.org or 908-233-2700 x279.
