Diabetes Cooking Classes At Spotswood ShopRite Nov. 13, 20

SPOTSWOOD, NJ — If you have diabetes, you may want to attend one of two free in-store classes that will be offered at the ShopRite of Spotswood this November.

The classes will be held at the supermarket on Wednesday, November 13 and Wednesday, November 20 both at 6 p.m. To register, please call Maryrose at 732-251-5202 ext. 3 or register online at dietitians.shoprite.com

ShopRite dietitian Maryrose Agel, RDN, will host two in-store classes for a “Healthy Living with Diabetes Series." In the classes, she will teach guests to read nutrition facts labels, choose better-for-you food options to control blood sugar levels and more. There will be food samplings, giveaways and a raffle for guests.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month to raise awareness about Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

The Spotswood ShopRite is located at 380 Summerhill Road in Spotswood.
