Wilkin & Guttenplan, P.C., a mid-size full service accounting and consulting firm, has been named as the number one best place to work in New Jersey in the medium category by NJBiz for 2018 as well as the highest ranked accounting firm overall. This is the second time the firm has been ranked number one. This survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state's economy, workforce and businesses.
We are very proud to have received this award for the last thirteen years. Wilkin & Guttenplan is continuously named as one of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For by Accounting Today and most recently recognized as a Best Firm for Women. The Firm was also the only company from New Jersey awarded the Best Places to Work for Millennials.

The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program is made up of 100 companies split into three groups: 31 small-sized companies (15-49 employees), 37 medium-sized companies (50-249 employees) and 32 large-sized companies (more than 250 employees).
To qualify, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- At least 15 employees working in New Jersey
- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- A facility in New Jersey
- A minimum of 1 year in business
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. The overall registration and survey process was managed by Best Companies Group (BCG). BCG also analyzed the data provided and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
NJBIZ held the awards program on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 from 5 PM – 8 PM at iPlay America’s Event Center in Freehold, NJ.
