Heroin Found In Tices Lane Car Stop, Police Say
Large amounts of heroin have been uncovered before in East Brunswick traffic stops, police say:
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A car stop in East Brunswick yet again resulted in heroin being found in the car, police allege. This is an ongoing problem where large amounts of heroin are allegedly uncovered in East Brunswick traffic stops.
East Brunswick police released news about the incident last week, on April 19: The car was pulled over March 19 on Tices Lane near the Mid State Mall, initially because it made an illegal turn, and had fictitious license plates.
Police said that while speaking to the vehicle occupants, they observed drug paraphernalia inside the car. East Brunswick police searched the car and found 25 bags of heroin inside, as well as 11 pills of Buperonorphine (suboxone, an opiate that is used to help treat opiate withdrawal) and additional unspecified drug paraphernalia.

Robert Silvia, 39, of Old Bridge and Jerramie Longacre, 39, of Collegeville, PA were arrested and charged.
