East Brunswick has had one person die of the virus, a man in his 60s who died last week.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As of Tuesday night, March 31, there are now 66 positive cases of coronavirus/covid-19 among East Brunswick residents, according to Mayor Brad Cohen.
East Brunswick has had one person die of the virus, a man in his 60s who died last week. No other information was provided surrounding his death, and East Brunswick has had no further deaths.
There are 1,277 total cases in Middlesex County as of Tuesday. There have been 24 total deaths in Middlesex County so far, according to MyCentralJersey.

If you think you need to get tested:
On Wednesday of this week Middlesex County will open a drive-thru test site at the DMV inspection center at 33 Kilmer Road in Edison. The site will be open three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those wishing to be tested will be required to make an appointment and meet a set of criteria. To receive testing, you must be a Middlesex County resident (valid driver's license or state issued identification is required), make an appointment online or via phone, as well as either have a valid doctor's prescription or be exhibiting symptoms which include: fever of 100.4 degrees or higher (99.6 degrees for people 65 years and older); respiratory symptoms; and/or shortness of breath.

Middlesex County residents that have symptoms and would like to be tested, should visit Middlesexcountynj.gov/COVID19testing to make an appointment and receive a time to report to the testing site. Registrants must bring the completed registration form and a valid driver's license or state issued ID to the testing site. If the resident does not have access to the internet or having connectivity problems, they are instructed to call 732-745-3100 to make an appointment (from 10 am to 4 pm). Appointments will only be made the day prior to a testing day.
Hackensack Meridian offers COVID19 testing at its nine urgent care centers in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
- Immediate care of Marlboro is offering a drive-thru COVID19 test in the Marlboro Medical Arts site located at 479 Rt 520 in Marlboro. Testing is by appointment only at (855) 925-5467 ext 0.
- The PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel is a regional FEMA drive-thru test location and is open for testing every other day from 8 a.m. to 4pm for up to 500 persons per day. Click here for PNC Arts Test Center info & schedule.
- On every Saturday, the PNC Bank Arts Center site will be dedicated to symptomatic health care workers and first responders -- police, fire, and EMS -- with valid credentials only. The general public will not be able to access this site on Saturdays.
- Central Jersey Urgent Care is testing up to 80 patients daily at Eatontown, Howell and Marlboro.
