Library Hosts Webinar on Foot Care with Dr. Thomas J. Gibbons

These include fungal nails, plantar fasciitis, sports-related injuries and issues, and innovative surgical techniques.

East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) will host an online health program, “Foot Care,” presented by Thomas J. Gibbons, DPM, on Friday, September 10 at noon.

Dr. Gibbons, the founder of Gibbons Foot and Ankle Group in East Brunswick and a member of Saint Peter’s University Hospital’s Medical and Dental Staff, will discuss some of the more readily seen ailments that patients face. These include fungal nails, plantar fasciitis, sports-related injuries and issues, and innovative surgical techniques.

Dr. Gibbons is a graduate of the University of Delaware and the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a foot and ankle surgical residency program at Germantown Hospital and Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and is licensed to practice podiatry in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society, and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has served as secretary of the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society Central Division and is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
