“Lunch N Learn” Program Examines Food Allergies

Vetter has over 25 years of experience in promoting health and nutrition education. She has also worked as a clinical nutritionist.

Saint Peter’s University Hospital and East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) are presenting a special online “Lunch N Learn” program to help the community better understand food allergies on Friday, December 10 at noon via Zoom.

The program is led by Laura Vetter, RDN, CDCES, outpatient dietitian at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Her presentation covers several topics, including the difference between food allergies and intolerances, the top food allergies, the importance of proper food labeling, hidden allergies, cross-reactions and allergy treatments.

Vetter has over 25 years of experience in promoting health and nutrition education. She has also worked as a clinical nutritionist and as an outpatient nutrition counselor.
