South River Closing COVID Testing Site Due To Lack Of Demand

The last day the site will be open is this Wednesday, June 10. The site did both antibody blood tests and the coronavirus nasal swab.

SOUTH RIVER, NJ — The borough of South River announced Monday they are closing their coronavirus testing site at St. Mary's Coptic school "due to lack of demand."

The last day the testing site will be open is this Wednesday, June 10.

The borough of South River partnered with Central Jersey Urgent Care, My Instadoc and Clarity Labs to operate the drive-through test site. The test site offered both blood draw tests for COVID-19 antibodies and nasal swab testing.

Everyone was eligible for either test or both tests, regardless if they have symptoms or not.
