South River Offers Antibody Blood Test, Nasal Swab For All

No matter where they live and whether they have symptoms, anyone can get a COVID nasal swab and blood test for antibodies in South River.

SOUTH RIVER, NJ — South River would like to remind readers that anyone — no matter where they live and whether they have symptoms or not — can get a COVID nasal swab test and blood test for antibodies at the town's Saint Mary Coptic School testing site.

Other Middlesex County sites, such as the New Brunswick and Edison Motor Vehicle Commission saliva test sites, were only open to Middlesex County residents. (The Edison MVC site has now closed due to lack of demand.)

South River is a test site run by the town, in partnership with Central Jersey Urgent Care, My Instadoc and Clarity Labs.

The testing site will offer both blood draw tests for COVID-19 antibodies and COVID-19 nasal swab testing. The testing site will be able to conduct up to 200 tests per day and will remain open as long as there is a demand for testing. Everyone is eligible for either test or both tests, regardless if symptoms are present or not.
