Upcoming Library Program Features Dementia Specialist

Galina Markovich will explain the condition, as well as answer questions about caring for loved ones with dementia.

The number of adults with dementia is increasing. According to the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation, every three seconds, someone in the world develops dementia.

To help answer questions about this disease, the East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) hosts an online program on Tuesday, December 21 at noon. A dementia specialist will be answering questions about this condition.

This program is led by Galina Markovich, an Adult Nurse Practitioner specializing in dementia care for over twenty years. She also provides counseling and leads support groups for caregivers for those who have dementia.
