Hightstown High School Choir Invited To Perform At Carnegie Hall
The choir will be performing at the prestigious Carnegie Hall on June 18, alongside two other choirs from Missouri and Georgia.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — The Hightstown High School Advanced Choir has received an invitation to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The choir will be performing with two other choirs — the Midwest Center for Creative Arts from Lake Street Louis, Missouri, and the Mountain View High School Chorus from Lawrenceville, Georgia.
The performance is set to take place on Sunday, June 18, at 2 p.m.

The choirs will be accompanied by the New England Symphonic Ensemble as they perform Karl Jenkins' “Te Deum” and John Leavitt’s “Bound for Glory”.
Choir director Jason Allen said he was thrilled to share this experience with his students as it will be his first time preparing a choir for a performance at Carnegie Hall.

“Performing at Carnegie Hall is a dream come true for many musicians, and it is a testament to the exceptional caliber of our choir,” Principal Dennis Vinson said. “This is a momentous occasion that our choir will remember for the rest of our lives, and it is all thanks to your hard work, talent, and dedication. Congratulations on this incredible achievement.”
Daniels said he was extremely proud of the students and is eager to see them use this “unique opportunity” to showcase their talents at a historic venue.
“Performing at Carnegie Hall will truly serve as a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our students and is a testament to their dedication and ongoing commitment,” Superintendent Mark Daniels. “It also reflects the tremendous quality of the arts programming and outstanding music instruction taking place within the East Windsor Regional School District.”
