Mental Health Facility Relocates In East Windsor Area
i.C.A.R.E. is now run by the Jewish Family and Children's Services.
EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — i.C.A.R.E., the community-based mental health and substance abuse support services for East Windsor and Hightstown residents, has moved. The new facility, which features professional clinical services provided by Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) of Greater Mercer County, is now located at 133 Main Street in Hightstown, officials said on Wednesday.
This program is a continuation of the substance abuse and mental health support services launched in October 2017 and previously provided by Family Guidance Center. The agency’s clinician is available Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. by appointment. To make an appointment, call 609-987-8100.
A ribbon-cutting was recently held for the new facility. East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov, i.C.A.R.E. President David Coates and i.C.A.R.E. Board Members and Michelle Napell, Executive Director of JFCS of Greater Mercer County were all in attendance.

“Mental health and drug abuse concerns exist throughout our state and our nation and certainly we have all seen the dramatic need in our own community for these services providing outreach and support for people in need,” Mironov said. “The new provider, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, is an outstanding organization and I know they are going to perform in an exemplary fashion.
“I want to give particular thanks to Mary Grace Billek of Mercer County who stepped up and became the spark to the fire that made this program a reality. The parents and citizens of this community came out and demonstrated their motivation to launch this important resource and the volunteers here have demonstrated how much they care by their efforts during this upheaval of shifting to a new location and a new provider. All of these individuals and groups have helped to result in this successful program outcome.”
