Become A Member Of The Edison Open Space Advisory Committee
To apply, an applicant needs to have an interest in the township's open space initiatives.
EDISON, NJ — The Edison Open Space Advisory Committee is looking for new members to join the team. The team works to preserve natural resources and enhance the quality of life for Edison Township residents.
To apply, an applicant needs to be a resident of the township and have an interest in open space initiatives such as land conservation, parks, trails, greenways, etc. They need to attend one committee meeting every month and help at the booth on Earth Day and Fall Festival.
The application process is pretty straightforward. An interested candidate needs to fill out an application form (you can find it here) and email it to clerk@edisonnj.org. The applications will be reviewed and approved by members of the Council.

Edison residents recently votes to establish an Open Space Trust Fund. The money from the trust fund will be reserved for park improvements, recreational areas, open space purchases, and historic preservation.
Edison currently has around 22 parks and 1,110 underdeveloped acres of parkland.
