• All-Women DJ Lineup Set For Edison's House Music Festival Saturday (patch.com) — Edison residents can enjoy a free House Music Festival at Papaianni Park on Saturday, featuring an all-women DJ lineup in honor of Women's Equality Day. Running from 3 to 10 p.m., the America250 Edison event invites the community to bring lawn chairs or blankets and celebrate together with music, dance, and local pride.
   

• Football: Union Rolls Past Edison, 35-0, on Opening Night (tapinto.net) — Edison High's football team was shut out 35-0 at home by Union in Friday night's season opener in Edison. Union's offense struck early and often, while Edison's defense held them scoreless in the third quarter before two late touchdowns sealed the loss. Union now prepares to face Watchung Hills next week.

(nj.com subscription) — A New Jersey horseman's lifelong passion for riding includes childhood trips to a weekly horse auction in Edison, where he earned a few dollars riding ponies. His journey from Plainfield kid to founder of the Crazy Faith Riders club now brings horses into cities like Newark and Plainfield, preserving Black cowboy traditions and inspiring local youth.
