• A New Pro Soccer Team Is Coming To NJ. It'll Call Edison Home (patch.com) — Edison is set to become home to a new 6,500-seat professional soccer stadium at the NEXUS sports and entertainment district, with New York City FC II relocating there in 2027 under a new New Jersey-focused identity. Local fans will help choose the team's name and colors, while a new youth soccer hub and club based at NEXUS Fields in Thomas A. Edison Park will expand opportunities for players ages 3 to 18.
