Tool Safety Demonstration In Edison For National Apprenticeship Week

EDISON, NJ - This week is the annual National Apprenticeship Week, and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters is providing tool-safety demonstrations and tool raffle giveaways for 100 New Jersey apprentices.

For this initiative, they are partnering with Milwaukee Tools. The event will be held on Wednesday, from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters Training Center, 73 Fieldcrest Ave, Edison .

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a nationwide celebration by the U.S. Department of Labor where industry, labor, equity, workforce, education, and government leaders host events to showcase the successes and value of registered apprenticeship.

NAW is an opportunity to highlight how registered apprenticeships provides a critical talent pipeline that can help to address some of the country’s pressing workforce challenges including rebuilding infrastructure, addressing critical supply chain demands, and supporting a clean energy workforce.
