Signing, Discussion Set for Book Based on Englewood Rabbi's Childhood

Author Anna Olswanger will spend Monday night, May 20, at the Fair Lawn Public Library to sign copies of her latest book, "Greenhorn," which is based on the childhood experiences of a local rabbi.

Author and literary agent Anna Olswanger will discuss and sign copies of her latest book "Greenhorn," Monday night at the Fair Lawn Public Library.

"Greenhorn," based on the childhood experiences of local Rabbi Rafael Grossman, tells the story of a young Holocaust survivor who comes to Brooklyn in the 1940s with only a small, mysterious box. The boy's close attachment to the box, which he won't let out of his sight, arouses the curiosity of his yeshiva school classmates.

Grossman, an Englewood resident, will also attend Monday's book signing and discussion.
