Pennsylvania Fugitive Arrested In Englewood

Krysten Pretlor, 30, attacked and shot someone in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in December, Sheriff Michael Saudino said.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A Pennsylvania fugitive wanted for attacking and shooting someone was arrested in the city Thursday, said Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino.

Krysten Pretlor, 30, was wanted by the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Police Department on felony aggravated assault, reckless endangerment of another person, simple assault and possession of a firearm charges.

Pretlor allegedly attacked someone Dec. 3 by striking him in the head and face and knocking him to the ground, Saudino said.

The man was able to get up and run away and Pretlor allegedly chased after him, firing a 9mm handgun several times, the sheriff said. One of the bullets hit the man in the arm, he said.

Authorities obtained information that Pretlor fled to an Englewood residence, Saudino said.

Members of the United States Marshal's Service Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Squad arrested Pretlor in a joint operation Thursday, Saudino said.

Sheriff's officials charged Pretlor with being a fugitive from justice.
