Tinder Date Steals Dog From Bergen Sitter: Police
The Leonia Maltese 'Maggie,' a laptop and package were stolen, police said.

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. — A Leonia dog was stolen Sunday from a woman who was house-sitting for a resident, police said.
The 18-year-old woman used the social media app Tinder, met a man and invited him to the house, Leonia Police said. The man went to the house with another man.
The woman was distracted by one of the men and the other was alone in the house; after the men left, the woman discovered that the family's 2-year-old white female Maltese named "Maggie," a laptop and a package from Amazon were stolen, police said.
