Aide Accused Of Forging $20,000 In Checks From Fair Lawn Resident: Police

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A home health aide is accused of writing and cashing $20,000 in checks from a borough resident, police said.

A family member reported to police December 30 that a home health aide wrote and cashed checks that belonged to the Gordon Place victim, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

Candice Morris, 36, of Bloomfield, was charged June 9 with forgery and theft, Metzler said. She was released after being charged.
