Bergen County Man Arrested, Charged After Alleged Sexual Assault of Minor
The alleged victim, now 16-year-old, said the sexual assault occurred when she was 11.
A Bergen County man was arrested last Friday after police were informed he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with a minor years ago.
Louis J. Tantillo, 50, of Upper Saddle River, was arrested after his alleged victim, now 16-years-old and living in another state, told a school counselor Tantillo had engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with her when she was 11, according to Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
Tantillo, a married construction firm owner, has been charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Bail was set at $250,000 with no ten percent option and no contact with the victim as a condition of bail.
Tantillo was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.
