Bergen County Sheriff's Officer Injured In Car Crash On Garden State Parkway
Sergeant was traveling to Bergen Regional Medical Center when the crash occurred, police said.

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — A Bergen County sheriff’s officer suffered minor injuries in a motor vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway Friday afternoon.
The officer, who was identified only as a female sergeant, was the only person hurt in the single-car crash, said State Police Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams.
The sergeant was driving to Bergen Regional Medical Center when the crash occurred, Williams said.
The vehicle did not overturn, Williams said.
The injured officer was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, Williams said.
