Police Catch Fair Lawn Burglar After Foot Pursuit

A Pine Avenue resident found the man entering a car in a driveway, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A borough man was charged with burglary after a brief foot pursuit by police Sunday, authorities said.

Several police officers responded to a Pine Avenue home after a resident saw a man enter the passenger side of a vehicle in their driveway, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

Michael Siegrist, 28, was caught and charged following a brief foot pursuit by Fair Lawn police officers, Metzler said.
