Car Catches Fire On Garden State Parkway In Elmwood Park [Video]
The fire occurred in Elmwood Park Thursday afternoon, State Police said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A car burst into flames on the Garden State Parkway in Elmwood Park Thursday afternoon, State Police said.
Police received a report at 12:32 p.m. that a Nissan Sentra at mile marker 158 was "fully engulfed" in flames, said Trooper Alejendro Goez.
The Nissan's 23-year-old driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, Goez said. He was not injured.

The Elmwood Park Fire Department responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze, Goez said.
