Caregiver Forged Checks, Stole $7,500 From Fair Lawn Family: Police
Tenaya McQueen, 21, of Prospect Park, was charged with forgery and theft.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A woman was arrested after police said she stole checks from a borough home and cashed them for $7,500, police said.
The Plymouth Drive residents informed police Dec. 3 of the theft and Detective Paul Donohue investigated, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.
Tenaya McQueen, 21, of Prospect Park, was arrested as a result of the investigation, Metzler said.

McQueen had been a caregiver at the residence, stole the checks and cashed them in for $7,500, police said.
McQueen was charged with theft and forgery, Metzler said, and subsequently released.
