Fair Lawn Man, 18, Boy, 17, Charged With Drug Possession Near School

Joseph Breuer, 18, was arrested after marijuana was found in his vehicle, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Two Fair Lawn residents, one of them a juvenile, were arrested and charged with drug possession near a school recently.

Police responded to Grover Terrace shortly before midnight Saturday on a report of two suspicious vehicles and arrested Joseph Breuer, 18, of Fair Lawn, and a 17-year-old juvenile after marijuana was found inside the vehicles, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

Breuer was charged with distribution of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, financial facilitation of criminal activity and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, Metzler said. Grover Terrace is located near Glen Rock High School.

The juvenile was handed over to a parent and will be charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in family court, the sergeant said.
