Girl Accuses Fair Lawn Man Of Sexually Abusing Her
Alphonse Diaz, 27, was arrested Monday after a girl reported to authorities he sexually assaulted her.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — A borough man was charged Tuesday with sexual assault after an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Fair Lawn Police Department.
Alphonse Diaz, 27, a customer service representative, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
The prosecutor's office received information Monday that Diaz sexually assaulted a girl, Grewal said. The prosecutor's office and Fair Lawn police investigated the allegation and arrested Diaz Tuesday, Grewal said.

Diaz appeared in county Central Judicial Processing Court Wednesday afternoon for a first appearance, Grewal said.
