Reamy has been charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, including one first-degree count, Molinelli said. Authorities found several weapons at Reamy’s Fair Lawn home during a search Wednesday, the website reported.
Reamy was the Glen Rock Police Department’s juvenile officer. He was arrested at his home following a monthlong investigation that started after the mother of a 17-year-old girl went to Glen Rock police after finding “inappropriate” messages from Reamy on her daughter’s cellphone, the website reported, citing Molinelli.
Reamy allegedly had a 14-year-old girl send him naked photos of herself and had sent her “two naked photos of his private part,” Molinelli said.
Molinelli said authorities will ”definitely be reviewing every juvenile this sergeant had contract with in Glen Rock,” Molinelli told the website.
Reamy’s information was removed from the Glen Rock Police Department’s website Wednesday afternoon, The Record reported, although the site listed Reamy has being on the department’s active roster Thursday afternoon.
