Fair Lawn Residents Exchange Alcohol In Deals Parking Lot, Police Say

Two Fair Lawn residents were charged with underage possession of alcohol after they allegedly exchanged beverages in a store parking lot Thursday, police said.

Fair Lawn Police Detective David Boone was in the parking lot at Deals Thursday at 2:21 p.m. when he saw an exchange of alcoholic beverages between two residents out of the trunk of a vehicle, police said.

Jamie Pines, 18, and Devon Velardi, 20, both from Fair Lawn, were charged with underage possession of alcoholic beverages and released, police said.
