Fair Lawn Robber Carrying Machete Told Bank '10K Or You Die'
Jose Cuevas, 27, of Paterson, gave a note to a Columbia Bank teller with '10K or you die' on it, police said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Police arrested and charged a Paterson man carrying a machete Wednesday with robbing the Columbia Bank branch on Broadway July 13, authorities announced.

Cuevas walked into the bank branch the afternoon of July 13 and handed a note to a teller that stated: "10K or you die," while grabbing his hip, making the teller believe he was holding a weapon, Metzler said.
