Fair Lawn Shoplifter Found Hiding Under Vehicle, Police Say

Danish Kahn, 30, was charged after he allegedly stole from CVS, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A borough resident was charged with shoplifting and two others were arrested on outstanding warrants this week, police said.

Danish Khan, 30, was charged with shoplifting after fleeing from CVS Friday night, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

Several police officers responded to the store and later found Khan hiding under a parked vehicle nearby, Metzler said.

Khan was released after he was charged.

In related news, Ethan Wald, 23, was arrested on $940 in warrants May 15 after police found him on George Street, Metzler said. He was released after posting bail.

Another resident, Thomas Payne, 35, was arrested Friday after police discovered he had a $750 arrest warrant out of Wyckoff, Metzler said. He posted bail and was released.
