Fair Lawn's Newest Business: Glam Spot NJ

Glam Spot NJ, which bills itself as a makeup studio for all ages and skin tones, held its grand opening ceremony Friday. The company, located at 12-45 River Road Suite 6, was founded earlier this year by professional makeup artist Heather Polyi and branding guru Kate Harvie.

Friday's event included a ribbon cutting by Mayor Lisa Swain and appearances by Chamber of Commerce executives Debbie Berowitz and Annette Wanamaker. Catering was provided by Stuffed Cupcakes, of Nutley.

Co-founder and lead makeup artist Heather Polyi called the grand opening "awesome."

"To be in a town with all women executives was fun," she said. "It's nice to see other people excited. It meant a lot."
