Gofundme Account Established to Help Fair Lawn Family Displaced by Home Fire

Fair Lawn Family Displaced After House Fire Destroys Home on 30th Street. A Gofundme account has been established to help.

On November 7, 2014 a fire raged through a Fair Lawn home. The family of 5, Mom, Dad and three teenage boys have been completely displaced. They lost EVERYTHING. This hard-working family would benefit from our support to piece their lives back together.

The home is destroyed. Their spirits are crushed.

They escaped with the clothes on their backs and not even shoes on their feet.

With the love of family and support from friends and neighbors... the support of compassionate fellow Bergen County residents we can help this family get back on their feet.

Thank you in advance for your generous donation.

**This fundraising campaign has been started by a group of friends and neighbors in Fair Lawn. Inspired by building community and caring for one another in times of need, Ms Laura Sabatello (who lives across the street) began immediately to organize donations of clothing, toiletries and local gift cards for eateries and stores for the family. Many from the community and county asked for this gofundme to be established to make it easier to give donations and for the family to purchase immediate needs as they completely start over and particularly the money will be used to help with moving costs of getting into and settled into another home. I, Patricia Cormack, of Cormack Consulting NJ, charitably manage several online community groups such as Fair Lawn Moms & Dads, Small Businesses of Bergen County, Fair Lawn Based Businesses and Resources and several others. Through these social media groups we have shared our neighbor’s story and are blessed by the donors as they band together to help a family member of our community. We are touched by everyone’s generosity. We believe strongly in BUILDING COMMUNITY and this is just one way we can do it. One family in need at a time.... helping one another.
