Lori Walker joins March of Dimes

Lori Walker, a resident of Elmwood Park, has joined the North New Jersey Division of the March of Dimes. Lori will serve as the Bergen County Community Director, working on the annual March for Babies walk. Having lost a baby at approximately 19 weeks, Lori has a personal connection to the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Lori previously worked for Felician College in Lodi for 18 years in Special Events, Annual Giving and Alumni Relations. She has been a member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, sitting on the non-profit committee, and is currently a member of the National Association of Professional Women and The Association of Fundraising Professionals.

The March of Dimes Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. March for Babies is the March of Dimes’ premier fundraising event.
