Man Arrested For Illegally Selling Handguns In Bergen County: Prosecutor
Miguel Torres was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 46 Wednesday, authorities said.

A man accused of illegally selling guns in Elmwood Park was arrested and charged Wednesday, said Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
From July 2015 to March 2016, the prosecutor’s office Narcotics Task Force investigated Miguel Torres for allegedly selling four handguns in Elmwood Park, Grewal said.
Task force members and Elmwood Park police officers arrested Torres, 20, of Butler, following a traffic stop on Route 46 in Elmwood Park, Grewal said.

The driver, Dominique Turzilli, 23, of Butler, had cocaine and Oxycodone in her possession when authorities stopped the vehicle, Grewal said. She was charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. She was issued a summons and released, authorities said.
Torres was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun. Torres was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
