Mountain Creek Getaway

Ski season is coming to a close, but there is still time to escape to the mountains for a few more runs down the slopes or for a much needed spa treatment. 

Mountain Creek, only an hour away in Vernon, offers a variety of activities and accomodations for those who are looking to get away but stay local.

The Ski and Stay Package includes accommodations, one ski lift ticket per person per night, free shuttle to Mountain Creek and access to the sports facilities at the resort. 

Need to get away with that special someone for a romantic weekend? Mountain Creek has several packages and events to choose from. 

The Fall in Love Package includes hotel, an eight-course dinner at Restaurant Latour with wine pairing, a massage, chocolate covered strawberries and more. The Wine Gourmet Package offers dinner at Latour, a tour of the resort's wine cellar, a tour of nearby Warwick Valley Winery and more.

Expecting a baby? The BabyMoon Package includes a stay at Minerals Resort, a sparkling cider and fruit and cheese platter delivered to the room and side by side couples spa treatments.

Are you looking for some bonding time with the girls? Minerals Resort & Spa has special events just for women as well as package deals.

From April 1 to April 3, the resort is hosting a Women's Weekend "Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life" with guest lecturer Anne Quinn. The weekend includes seminars, hikes, special dinners, movie screening and more. 

The Girlfriends' Getaway includes accommodations at Minerals Resort, late 2 p.m. checkout, a full-body massage at Elements Spa and a bottle of chardonnay.

There are two different spa packages offered:

• Elements Spa & Stay: Includes accommodations, 50-minute massage per adult and unlimited access to the Minerals Sports Club
• Reflections Spa & Stay: A shuttle will take you from the Minerals Resort to this new spa at the Grand Cascades Lodge where you will receive your 50-minute "Art of Reflection" full body massage
