Part Of Saddle River Road To Be Closed Jan. 4 Through 14
Detours will be in place while new gas lines are installed.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - Get ready for some traffic delays.
Saddle River Road will be closed between Market Street and Railroad Avenue beginning Monday until Jan. 14 so gas lines can be replaced.
That section of roadway will be closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saddle River police said. Delays should be expected. Motorists should plan an alternate route, if possible.

Motorists on Market Street wishing to travel northbound on Saddle River Road will be detoured to Rochelle Avenue, then to Railroad Avenue, and back to Saddle River Road.
Traffic on Saddle River Road southbound will be detoured to Railroad Avenue, then to Rochelle Avenue, and then back to Market Street.

The project is part of PSE&G’s Energy Strong Program. This construction is part of PSE&G’s Energy Strong Program. The new gas lines will prevent water from entering the main lines and increase the reliability of gas service in areas prone to flooding during storms, police said.
