Prostitution Bust, Men Caught With Marijuana In Car, Woman Stole $6,000 At Spa: Police

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A New York woman was charged with engaging in prostitution last month after she offered sexual services to an undercover police officer at an office on Broadway authorities said.

Hong Li, 50, of Flushing, New York, was charged and released, police said.

  • Authorities responded to Broadway Adult Day Care & Spa on a report of a $6,000 theft by an ex-employee, police said.

The person allegedly took the money after conducting a class at the spa, police said.

Cristina Ortiz, 20, of Prospect Park, was charged with theft of moveable property and was released after her bail was posted, police said.

  • Two Fair Lawn men were charged after police investigated a suspicious vehicle in a gas station parking lot earlier this month.

Police officers Tiller Uriarte and Brian Goodson approached the vehicle at the Radburn Exxon just after 2 a.m. July 5, police said.

Juan Becerra- Villegas, 19, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found marijuana and a digital scale in his pocket, authorities said.

Another man in the car, Kenneth Martorelli, 19, was arrested after he interfered with the investigation, police said, after being told to back away. He was charged with obstructing a governmental function and underage possession/consumption of alcohol, police said.
