Radburn Players Hold Auditions and Free Event This Month

Fair Lawn's Radburn Players is staying busy this month with auditions for its spring show and an open meeting /party.

Fair Lawn’s Radburn Players is now casting for its spring production, seeking three men and five women to take on some fun and meaty parts in the provocative and well-crafted comedy, Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s got the Will?, written by Del Shores and directed by Dave Sparano. Auditions will be held on January 21 and 22, 8pm, at The Radburn Association Grange Hall, 29-20 Fair Lawn Avenue in Fair Lawn. Show dates are May 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9.

In Daddy’s Dyin’, as their patriarch’s health declines, a dysfunctional Texas family scrambles to predict how their father’s estate will be split up. His greedy grown children have all come home to pay their respects, but they can’t wait to get their hands on the all-important will – which their father announces he’s misplaced!

The Players also invites the public to attend its Winter Open Meeting at 8pm on January 31 at The Grange, which will include a performance of Orsen Welles’ classic radio drama The War of the Worlds. The free evening includes beverages and snacks.
