Roscoe Art Contest
Drawing Room Fine Art and Sculpture Studio located in Midland Park, NJ is hosting an Art Contest to benefit Animal Rescue.
If you’ve taken classes with us before, you may have encountered our furry four-legged friend hanging around! His name is Roscoe and we would love for you to illustrate him!
The contest is open to all students K-12
3 winners will be chosen from each of the following categories:
Elementary, Middle School, High School, Special Needs
12 WINNERS. GREAT PRIZES.
- All contestants’ work will be featured in the book “Roscoe to the Rescue”

- Your artwork will be displayed in our Art Show on October 19, 2014 at Drawing Room!

- Contest winners will be announced and prizes awarded at an Art Show at Drawing Room on Sunday, October 19, 2014. All art entered will be featured in the book, “Roscoe to the Rescue” with biographies and photos of the winners.

1) Fill out our ENTRY FORM and submit $10 entry fee. Remember - all proceeds from the contest will benefit Angels for Animals (an animal rescue organization!)
2) Hear Roscoe tell you about his adventures in his book, “Roscoe to the Rescue.” Listen online to hear Roscoe’s amazing story!
3) View the online Roscoe Photo Gallery for inspiration for your work of art!

4) Connect to iTunes to purchase the full version of “Roscoe and the Canine Gypsies,” written and recorded by Paul DeCarlo. Proceeds from the book and the sony goes to Animal Rescue.
5) Create an original piece of art no larger than 9’ x 12’ on canvas, cardboard, cardstock, or surface of your choice. Use any media: watercolor, pencil, colored pencil, markers, acrylic or oil paint, pastels, collage, ink, you name it! You must place printable Art Contest Label on the back of the artwork. (See #7).
6) Drop off your completed artwork NO LATER THAN 3PM ON JULY 11, 2014 at Drawing Room Fine Art and Sculpture Studio:
27 Central Ave, Midland Park, NJ . If studio is closed, leave the artwork in the Roscoe Contest Box by the studio entrance.

7) If you do not have the label to attach to your artwork taken from one of our posters, make sure you download the label online.
