Saddle Brook Councilwoman's Son Charged With DWI, Report Says
Joseph Scrittorale, 41, was charged after he allegedly hit two cars and kept driving on Route 17 early Friday morning, police said.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - The son of a Saddle Brook councilwoman was arrested last week and charged with driving while intoxicated after he allegedly hit two cars and his blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit, one report said.
Joseph Scrittorale, 41, was also charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, reckless driving, and being an unlicensed driver, Hasbrouck Heights police Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri Jr told The Record.
Scrittorale’s mother is Karen D’Arminio, a Saddle Brook councilwoman, according to the report.

Scrittorale’s blood-alcohol level was 0.15 when he allegedly crashed his car into two other cars and kept driving on Route 17 at 12:15 a.m. Friday morning, according to the report.
