Saddle Brook Man Guilty Of Vehicular Homicide Death Of Teaneck Woman, Report Says

Anneta Billingy was ejected from the back seat when Thomas Vanderweit 'brake checked' the car she was in, authorities said.

A Saddle Brook man was found guilty of vehicular homicide Thursday in the death of a Teaneck woman, Annetta Billingy, The Record reported.

Billingy was ”ejected” from the back seat of the vehicle she was in when Thomas Vanderweit “brake checked” that car during a high-speed “skirmish” on the Garden State Parkway in July 2012, the report states.

County prosecutors said the “brake checking” set off an accident that caused Billingy to be ejected from the Honda Pilot she was in; she was pronounced dead after being airlifted to Hackensack University Medical Center, the report states.
