Saddle Brook Teen Suffers Head And Leg Injuries After Car Hits Him, Report Says
Student darted out into Mayhill Street, police said.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — A 13-year-old middle school student sustained head and leg injuries Thursday when he was hit by a car after running into Mayhill Street, police said.
The boy, whose name was not released, looked like he ran into the forward part of the side of the car and was thrown up on the hood, The Record reported, citing Police Chief Robert Kugler.
A crossing guard had stopped the car at a crosswalk just before the impact, but then cleared it to move when the student ran out into the road, about 200 feet from the crosswalk, the report said.
