Teaching Teddy Corners by Rabbi Claire
Setting up memorials in my mother's memory, Marvell D. Tanner Ginsburg z"l with the help of the teddy bears
My mother had wished to live in Israel but it never came to be. She dreamed of becoming a teacher of young children and setting them on their path with good Jewish values. Her life ended but her work doesn’t have to. I am bringing her pictures and story, along with the donated teddy bears of children, with strong Zionist roots, to Israel in October. There these toys and her story will be set up in corners of the places where I donate the teddy bears. We will create the Teaching teddy corner in 8 places throughout Israel. In this way, a remembrance of what she did in her life will remain and her story retold.
