5 People Escape Stalled Car On Saddle Brook Tracks
The car was stopped on the tracks on Midland Avenue Friday morning, police said.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - Five people escaped a car that was stalled on train tracks before A NJ Transit train struck it Friday morning, police said.
The car was stopped at the railroad crossing on Midland Avenue near Erie Street when it was hit by a southbound train, police said.
The five occupants — including a 4-year-old child — exited the car before the train struck it, The Record reported. None of them were hurt, but the car was “significantly” damaged, the report said.
