The Frenchtown Bookshop and Madison Rose Finery welcome back novelist, gemologist, and historian Anna Rasche to launch her new gem-based mystery/thriller, "The Cursed Diamond." She will be in conversation with Frenchtown's own Madison Rose Whitman, and the event will take place at Madison Rose Finery jewelry store at 22 Bridge Street, Frenchtown.
In "The Cursed Diamond," two women -- one in 1910 and one in 2010 -- are tied together by the legendary curse of the Midnight Diamond, which is said to bring ruin to all who possess it. To break that curse, Diamond District worker Jennie must solve a century-old mystery and chase a lost treasure -- a challenge that brings her into a world of secrets and danger.
