Flemington's J.P. Case Middle School Celebrates Student Achievement At Ceremony
From the DAR Award to the JP Case Citizenship Award, dozens of eighth-graders were honored June 5.

FLEMINGTON, NJ — J.P. Case Middle School in Flemington celebrated its eighth-grade class June 5 at the school's annual scholarship awards ceremony, recognizing students across academics, arts, athletics, character, and leadership.
Ian Sutherland received the Daughters of the American Revolution Award, and Gloria Miranda-Pincay was honored with the "Eye of the Tiger" Award. The Mathematical Mastery Award went to Connie Huang (Team 8-2), Koustav Ganguly (Team 8-3), and Elena Samarasinghe (Team 8-4). The Literary Luminary ELA Award was presented to Bhumi Patakamuri (Team 8-2), Olivia Mannino (Team 8-3), and Alyssa Haig (Team 8-4). Scientific Scholar honors went to Vibhu Vasanth (Team 8-2), Jovanny Galarza (Team 8-3), and Liam Joys (Team 8-4).
Alexander Wang and Shrey Shah earned the Spanish Scholar Award. The Kindness Award was presented to Norah Bellotti and Jackson Fromme, and the Physical & Personal Wellness Award went to Natalie Lainez and Luke Parillo. The Mary Denbigh Award recognized Caitlyn Cavalchire (Team 8-2), Mason Pereira (Team 8-3), and Charlotte Whitley (Team 8-4).

Steven Mendez Espinoza received the Pioneer Award. Cole Parker earned the Palette of Possibilities Award, Viktoriia Chumak was named the Visual Arts & Fabrications Visionary, and Marcus Daniel Obrera took home the Culinary Craftsmanship Award. Arav Tyagi was recognized as Technology Trailblazer.
In the performing arts, Nehali Livingston received the Orchestral Excellence Award, Charlotte Blackford the Vocal Music Excellence Award, Matthew "MJ" Alligier the Band Excellence Award, and Chloe Leach the Theater Arts Excellence Award. Gabriella Philips earned the Stretch Striving Scholar Award.

Aaron Erb and Lexie Hassler were named Scholar-Athletes, and the Sportsmanship Award went to Kyle Ur and Carolyn Gluck. Lucia Royer and Elizabeth Lee were selected as the Class of 2026 Promotion Speakers — opening and closing, respectively — through the Voice & Vision Award.
The Award of the Tiger Honor Cord, the ceremony's broadest distinction, was presented to Adaleigh Muzychko, Ben Horn, Blake Moran, Brinley Nolan, Brianna Nuechterlein, Cainen Batliwala, Emilio Alegria, Elena Samarasinghe, Hannah Schreil, Jackson Fromme, Jayci Pollack, Katelyn Gratkowski, Katherin Perez-Sagastume, Kate Reznak, Liam Faino, Mark Bruno, Mckenna Johnson, Norah Bellotti, Norah Collins, Olivia Mannino, Rutwik Yedavilli, Shrey Shah, and Vibhu Vasanth.
The Norton Scholarship Award was presented to Sejal Busi. Sai Tanish Patange received the Johann Phillip (JP) Case Award, the ceremony's namesake honor, and Chloe Hillman was recognized with the JP Case Citizenship Award.
