Hunterdon County Polytech Students Provide Design Services
Meet the Students and Discuss Needs at a March 24 Job Fair

Flemington, N.J. – Hunterdon County Polytech students in the Commercial Arts and Advertising Design Program seek businesses, nonprofits and community organizations in need of design services. Students are interested in helping with a wide range of needs, including website design, illustration, graphic design, social media marketing, art therapy products, pet portraits, fashion design (specifically theme skirts), jewelry design and tattoo design. Interested individuals can meet, brainstorm with and interview students at a job fair held Tuesday, March 24 at 8 a.m. at Hunterdon County Polytech’s Bartles Campus, 8 Bartles Corner Rd.
The Polytech students recently received guidance from Hunterdon County Rotarians on starting and running a business as a freelancer. Each year, Polytech Instructor Teresa Diaz partners with local Rotary clubs to run this program, called Bridging the Gap, which connects her Commercial Arts and Advertising Design students with real-world clients.
“Our March 24 Bridging the Gap Job Fair is an ideal time for the community to learn about the high-quality services our talented students can provide at student prices,” said Diaz. “Over the years as we have developed this Bridging the Gap Program, our students have established a reputation for conducting themselves as professionals and exceeding their clients’ expectations.”
Businesses interested in attending the Bridging the Gap Job Fair or learning more about the Bridging the Gap Program should contact Diaz at 908-788-1119, ext. 2021 or tdiaz@hcvsd.org. Businesses must register with Diaz prior to attending the Bridging the Gap Job Fair.
