Troop 200 Celebrates Achievements at Court of Honor in Lebanon
Spring Court of Honor held at Holjes-Sheppard Park
Boy Scout Troop 200 held their Spring Court of Honor on the Holjes-Sheppard Memorial Park in Lebanon Borough. The park is names after two Troop 200 Scouts, Fred Holjes and Robert Sheppard, who were killed in action during Vietnam.
Eight Scouts earned the Citizenship in the Society merit badge, the first new merit badge for youth in the Scouts BSA program since 2017. Through earning the badge, Scouts are provided opportunities to learn more about our world by encouraging them to explore information on diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical leadership — and to learn why these qualities are important in society and in Scouting.

- Ryan Walsh: Citizenship in Society, Citizenship in the Community, Cooking
David Strober, Gavin Martorana, Oliver Sudol and Sean Verlin earned the Totin' Chip emblem which is awarded to Scouts who demonstrate knowledge of and proper handing, care, and use of different tools with blades.
During the event, Owen Maslanka and Gavin Martorana received special citations from NJ State Assemblyman, Roy Freeman for their work replacing worn and tattered flags along local interstate highways.

Troop 200 Scoutmaster, Jeff Lutz presented the Life rank badge to Ryan Walsh.
Troop 200 is a high-adventure, boy-led troop dating back to 1955. The scouts meet on Monday evenings during the school year at Lebanon Reformed Church located in Lebanon Borough, NJ.
